GLASS PALETTE: CARE INSTRUCTIONS

OIL PAINT

Wet oil paint: For best result, simply wipe clean with a cloth soaked in mineral spirits aka white spirit or even turpentine.

Dry oil paint: It can be removed with appropriate paint cleaners such as white spirit or turpentine. You can also use a plastic scraper if needed.

Special trick: On your Redgrass Glass Palette, oil paints are easily removed when not completely dry. You can simply use a dry cloth or paper towel if you want to avoid the smell of white spirit or turpentine !

Caution: Please avoid using metallic scrappers as they tend to cause scratches on any glass palette.

.

ACRYLIC PAINT

Wet acrylic paint: Simply wipe clean with a cloth soaked in water.

Dry acrylic paint: Dried heavy-body acrylic paint peels away very easily. Remove the remaining paint with a wet cloth or any appropriate acrylic paint cleaner.

Special trick: You can also leave your glass palette in a sink full of warm water for a few minutes. (not too hot so you can manipulate the palette). Most acrylic paints will simply peel away.

Caution: Please avoid using metallic scrappers as they tend to cause scratches on any glass palette.
